EPA RRP Rule

The EPA's RRP (Renovation, Repair and Painting) Rule went into effect on April 22, 2010.  This law applies to any paid worker who disturbs lead-based paint in pre-1978 houses or child-care facilities and address specific requirements that must be followed.  The EPA mandates that each person who needs to become a Certified Renovator complete six (6) hours of instruction, two (2) hours of hands-on skill set training and successfully pass a test.

We realize that contractors, renovators, painters, handymen and the like are hard working and often time crunched.  To make this certification process as convenient as possible we are offering the six (6) hours of instruction in an online format (we are one of only 2 EPA accredited providers eligible to offer this on-line format).  This means that rather than sitting in a classroom for up to nine (9) hours and losing an entire day's work, you can complete the 6 hours of instruction when it's convenient for you and schedule the 2 hours of hands-on training which we offer in a variety of locations.  By offering the hands-on at a variety of locations we hope that you will be able to find one close enough to you that you can be away from your projects for a minimal amount of time.

If you need this training or know someone who does, we hope you will visit our website at: contractortraining.com to sign up.
